A day before he was to sit down with Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump joined a crowd of Israelis who said there needed to be a swift end to its war with Hamas, plus the return of hostages, and that the country had to get a better handle on its “public relations.”
In an interview with Fox News Thursday, the former president added that those protesting against the speech of the Israeli prime minister to the U.S. Congress also deserved a one-year jail sentence for desecrating the U.S. flag.
